Should Jake White keep on coaching?

Jake White was a great coach but will he be able to bring home the world cup?

Who do you recomend as new coach?

We cant afford to bring in a new coach now, the world cup is on our doorstep....  Its not Jakes coaching that is bad, its is the goverment bringing in players who arent the best in the team...  I am not a racsist or anything but I mean if a white player is better than a coloured player why would the coloured player be in the starting line up and the white player be on the bench?

Hoe gaan dit Alwyn. The problem we have in our country is sport politics. We keep changing coaches like we change our hair do's.Our coaches need to take some rugby/soccer/cricket lessons themselves if we want to stay above water level in the sporting world. Remove politics from sport and treat players with the respect other countries do with their teams/coaches. Jake White is fine, the entire rugby body needs to be accountable and stop passing the buck. Mooi bly.

Jake did a good job the last 3 years but he only plays his favourites! I think someone like Heyneke Meyer will be a good bok coach for the world cup, look what he did with the BULLS...?

I totally agree with most of the other posts listed here...the main problem with south african rugby is that POLITICS is ruining the game...with so much control from the politicians its no wonder the springboks can't consistently perform well...I mean who here has not been disapointed with the springboks in the 2006 Tri-Nations??

I dont think that a new coach will help, if anything it will make it worse, what Jake White needs now, is for the politicians to let him do his job : be the springboks coach and select the best that south africa has.

I believe that if Jake White started coaching as he did when he was appointed then we might have a chance. The way things are going now, with 4 or 5 succesive losses, he will have to pull off a miracle.
