  1. Definitely.

The younger generations must learn that humans can make mistakes and that their decisions will have repercussions (good or bad). Senator Edwards can use this scandal to educate. While it's not a particularly nice analogy, it's like ex-alcoholics or drug addicts speaking to high school students on the dangers of addiction.

On a more general note, I believe that as a society, we must stop judging our leaders by their lifestyles and judge them by their actions in the roles they were chosen to fulfill. For example, who can ever make the argument that Sir Winston Churchill was not a great leader? Yet he was a womanizer, a smoker and a heavy drinker. In the end, are these the things that matter or the fact that he played an instrumental role in the defeat of Nazism?

  2. No he should go away

  3. No, he should speak at Hugh Hefner's birthday party.

  4. John Edwards should lay low for a few years. He needs to keep a low profile and stay out of the public eye.

He is a hypocrite and a liar.  He has hurt his family by his stupid, childish behavior.  His wife has cancer and he's out messing around with another woman.  He should just fade away.

  5. If he has any personal honor or charcter ( which is obvious that he doesn't ), he would decline to speak.

  6. only if he brings his lover
