Its just odd. They put a poll on there website, which skater would you rather see? So people told them. The overwhelming outcome was Johnny Weir! I believe he had something like over 600 votes. While Evan Lysacek came out with only 62. So they hired Evan. I don't have to wonder why the tours are having a hard time selling tickets. Who else thinks he should have been asked?

  1. well, its prettty obvious that Johnny Weir can be a bit of a drama king every now and then, which isnt a problem for his fans, but it can be an issue for the choreographers and coaches for Stars On Ice. Evan is low-maintenance, so he will appeal more to the coaches. Johnny Weir is also probably not willing to tour because he is in major training. Evan may be more willing to tour. And as every figure skating fan knows, there is a bitter rivalry between the two skaters, and having them in the same show probably isnt that good of an idea! this is in no way an insult to Johnny or Evan, we love them both, and unfortunately it isnt exactly our decision, although we are the ones filling the seats.
