  1. well, being a dyed in the wool tiger man, it's hard to say but i reckon yes.

mate, i'm not a big jonno fan anyway, i think he is the worst captain in the AFL. he f#$##s up all the time, the Brisbane game last year, seconds to go, he stuffed up. he always kicks long, to a contest, when there are other options.

but having said all that, he shouldn't of stood himself down for next  week, that's bull $hit, we have game to win.

we who live in glass houses should not throw stones, he has never done any thing wrong b4, unlike fev.

who hasn't had a p**s in public, come on be honest, Christ Ive pissed through a bloody shop front envelope thingy, not right but when your on the grog, ya just don't give a c**p. fevs a loser in every aspect, jonno, nah, he shouldn't be sacked.

    john nicholls, thief

Wayne johnstone, kills some one while driving drunk.

    des tuddenam- convicted thief.

come on guys lets put things into perspective.

as a capt, he ain't my choice but should he really lose it for that, no.

  2. yes

    he should be demoted

    disgusting little man

  3. Yes, what sort of an example is he to his team? What is it with these footballers? They think they have a right to do whatever disgusting thing they like. They appear to frequent clubs & pubs more than they do their homes! Too much money, too little sense, too much time on their hands.

  4. yess i h8 him

  5. Most definitely he should be sacked as captain, what example is that setting for the younger guys.

And depending on what the police make of it, give him a 2 match ban.

  6. yeah i think he should

  7. No, Richmond did the right thing by accepting his stand-down from the next game and fining him. He doesn't do it every full moon like Fevola, he wasn't driving and thus likely to kill someone else, he must have been smashed off his brain to choose the police station to irrigate, and thus would have had the Matty Richardson of all hangovers the next day - enough punishment.

  8. Amazing- doing that outside the biggest cop shop in melbourne :)

I personally think this kind of behaviour is normal for the quality individual that excels at sport. These events are triggered by drunkenness. Some people lose self control when drunk. Brendan Fevola did the same thing last week, and he is always getting in trouble when he gets on it. His solution is to stop drinking.

If you think a person should be sacked for off field behaviour when it relates to alcohol or other drugs, then maybe you would support a ban on the use of legal drugs like alcohol altogether. If all kids coming through the leagues knew they had to be 100% straight edge to become an elite footballer, maybe they'd never start drinking the **** in the first place. Because nobody knows if they are going to be the one who can't control themselves before they drink, and nobody who can control themselves can really understand why other people can't.
