Should Kieron Pollard have come in earlier for Mumbai?

Should Mumbai have sent Kieron Pollard in to bat earlier than they did? It was almost game over by the time the West Indies all-rounder was sent into the middle.

Any person even without cricketing knowledge would agree that he should have been sent earlier. He could have taken calculated risks then. He had only 18 balls and was required to hit 18-19 runs an over. This was the biggest blunder Mumbai did except for dropping Raina twice.

The result seems to indicate they left it a bit late in the innings to send Pollard in to bat. He probably should have come in after Sachin Tendulkar’s dismissal.
