She’s the darling of women’s tennis in Britain right now, and perhaps Robson will ultimately bring Britain success that the current Fed Cup team members can only dream of. But the fact is, Robson is only 16 and ranked outside the top 300 players in the world. Elena Baltacha and Katie O’Brien are both top 100 players, and so was Anne Keothavong before she was sidelined with injury for six months last year. Robson will get her chance in the fullness of time, but there are others who are currently deserve their spots ahead of the teenager.
