Should Liberals who want to "Change" America be forced to live in other countries?

Should they have to live in either Cuba (whom they say have a great health care system) or Venezuela whom they applaud for taking money from the haves and giving it to the have nots or better yet Russia?

Would this change their mind and be thankfull to live in the greatest country in the world?

  1. Ned .....I would second this motion.

Obama wants a One World Government...( what the Bible predicts)That is the change he is talking about and never tells his followers,

yet he exposed it in Berlin when he said, "I'm a One World Citizen"

He should have to go live in these countries and take his followers with him.

You can bet he won't be taking "His" money and sharing it!

  2. yes

Further, they should see why every other nation is lowering corp income taxes

    to attract business and jobs

  3. I'm always amazed by how little respect for American values and democracy rabid, extreme conservatives have.  "America, love it or leave it" has long been the mantra of the regressive right.  What you are saying is that the U.S. should be a fascist dictatorship where only certain political views are acceptable. Fortunately, you are not in the majority--even among conservatives.

  4. The forced movement of "Change" liberals to Cuba, Venezuela, and Russia would address a political conflict that is only vaguely understood and stated by the asker and answerer.

The forced movement of any group of people has been harmful to both groups as seen by n**i Germany (concentration camps), Soviet Union (Siberian gulag), and US history (slavery).

    "Change" conservatives.

  5. Great . . . one more intelligent argument suggesting that United States should be the land of one party, no dissent, and the wearing of roseBUSH-colored sunglasses.

Give me a break.  This country needs something other than a suggestion that fascism is the route to take.

I READ THE QUESTION!  Any liberal (I am one) who thinks change is what we need is someone you suggest should have to leave the country.  How dare you suggest that anyone who is a liberal and thinks that the country is on the wrong path should be exiled.  What kind of narrow-minded person makes such a suggestion?

  6. I say this as a staunch conservative, so please keep this in mind.

Liberals are all about change.  It was their "fault" that we have equality between the races - and even abolished slavery.  It was the liberals "fault" that women can vote and hold jobs and the like.  It was the liberals "fault" that there are courts that consider people innocent until proven guilty.  It was the liberals "fault" that we have a country in the first darned place!!!!

They saw the status quo and didn't like what they saw - and established a new country that didn't have a king and had a representative government.  It certainly wasn't the conservatives.

Keep that in mind before we kick them all out.  Yeah, liberals may tick me off on a regular basis, but we need them or there would NEVER be any change in this society.

  7. Most everyone wants to grow, and growth means change.

Nothing stays the same, and if we are smart we change in ways that benefit the majority of people.

The Russian system is no longer communism.

And many people find the health care systems in France and Sweden to be superior to Cuba's.  But you have to realize that until Castro health care was simply unavailable for the majority of its people.

Should they have to live there, of course not, it wouldn't solve any problem we now have with the ability to afford health care for an increasing number of Americans.

One of the 'haves' that Venezuela is taking from is the oil companies.

They nationalized their oil so that now the oil belongs to the people of Venezuela.  Oddly enough they pay twelve cents a gallon.

We have Republicans grandstanding about drilling 'our' oil, but we will not see that savings since we are not nationalized.

Its not our oil once we sell the oil leases.

So we do need change, and both sides simply want their way to become law.

But that doesn't mean either side has to move out to live somewhere else, it just means we need to decide how and in which direction we want the country to move.

And who it is we want to care for...the sick, elderly and infants...or big business.

  8. Yes I think they need to know exactly what they want to change America into.

  9. Great suggestion! Or be forced to live in Canada for a couple years with the greatest Health Care system in the world!
