  1. Yes I;m tired of this political correctness

  2. I'm not entirely sure this is a derogatory term. I always took it to be an almost affectionate term for black children. One of the answers before mine suggests it comes from a word meaning 'little ones' - if this is so, do you still have a problem with it?

Johnson is eccentric, true, but given that, might his remarks have sprung from that eccentricity rather than any malice? You have to take into account people's intentions when they make utterances. Did he intend to be racist? It's unlikely, given that his comments were made in print.

  3. no, suck c**k. boris johnson m*********s in his winkle machine. terrorise the nation and NSPCA shall save the giraffe's from exportation from London

  4. lol...my teacher once called me that...and I didn't know what it meant then....However when my mother found out she went to the school to confront the teacher and and ended up in jail that day for assault and battery....the teacher ended up with a broken nose....but never made the mistake of calling me or my siblings out of our names again, But to hear the word

'Piccaninnies in 2008 just goes to show how some people are so very out of touch with reality

  5. Yes.

  7. No - the man is a joke (and a nasty racist joke at that) and London will be a joke if he is elected.

  8. No but that said it may turn out to be a vote winner.

Why is it that every time I turn on the TV at the moment Enoch Powell and his Rivers of Blood speech is being mentioned.

He said it forty years ago, so what! why are they celebrating it. It's a speech best forgotten.

They are slowly erasing the coloured faces of Britain, already there is a shortage of Indian restauraunt personnel. In a hundred years there'll be none as people leave, intermarry or don't have kids.

An all white Britain will increase nobodys happiness but it will make us more parochial and xenephobic.

  9. Picaninnies have bulging eyes and unkempt hair, red lips and wide mouths into which they stuffed huge slices of watermelon. In the Southern United States;Pickaninny was long used to refer to the children of African slaves. The term was also used in the movie Gone with the Wind, and the book Uncle Tom's Cabin. The word may be derived from the Portuguese word 'Pequenino(little little one)
