Should Louisiana police officers risk their lives for the foolhardy who refused to evacuate?

It may be cold but I wouldn't risk my life for those who refused to heed the warnings. Especially after Katrina.

it's a noble job to rescue others, even the fools... I call them heroes

The only thing the police should do for those who refuse to evacuate is after the storm, they should use boat hooks to pull their bodies out of the drains to keep from stopping them up.  If they are too stupid to have learned from Katrina, they are too stupid for anybody to risk their lives for.  But that is just my opinion.

Everyone needs to get the h**l out & evacuate because it looks like it is going to be a pretty bad hurricane
