  1. only for HR's and fair/foul balls. using for safe/out would just be too much and it would take away from the 'national pastime'. if they do implement it for hr's and fair/foul, i hope that that will not lead to replay for other plays. oh and maybe like to see if the batter was/wasn't hit. like for example too see if it hit the bat or the hand.

  2. I think instant replay should be used for hits (fair/foul calls or disputed hits, for example, home runs that were not called home runs).  This is particularly for stadiums that have field eccentricities.

Balls and strikes and base running calls (safe or out) should still be judgment calls of the umpire.

  3. I;m old school. I think MLB should not use instant replay.

Baseball is a game of human calls, not technology

  4. For fair/foul and HRs.only.  Implement at the start of next season.  Don't change the rules in the middle of the season.

  5. They should and it should be implemented for this years playoffs! It wont be, but it should be!

  6. I would that MLB did not implement instant replay.  The game is long enough as it is, and instant replay should slow it down that much more.

However, for close calls on fair versus foul balls, I could see there to be an argument.  I would also see an argument for close calls for runners who are safe versus out.  I would definite be against instant replay for balls and strikes, though, since there is no visual strike zone (making them subjective anyway).

  7. It will be implemented as soon as august 15th, MLB will have replay soon.
