Should Major League Baseball re-align?

Is it fair that the NL Central teams have to compete with 6 teams (giving them a 16.67% chance annually on an even field over 100 years) while the AL West has only 4 teams (a 25% chance).

Also do you think Milwaukee should go to the AL if this move goes thru, since that is where they came from? You would then likely put KC in the AL West.

Or do you favor the Pirates going to the AL Central and getting an in-state rival with Philly, and then moving KC to the West?

NOTE- Interleague play would be all year long, not condensed into 3 weeks like now. Would you care about that? Keep in mind NOBODY complains about it in Hockey, the NFL or the NBA.

You are correct about interleague play. It would have to be all year long. It wouldn't work any other way. Good idea!

No. Leave it as is. There's no need to re-align and I don't want interleague games all year long.

Milwaukee was originally a national league city. The Milwaukee Braves! Plus there is now a wild card available for each league. Since baseball is a game of streaks, the wild card team has won the world series several times.

Why start moving the teams all around. If you want to improve the game, eliminate some of the expansion teams, which would make the existing teams more competitive from top to bottom. Also eliminate the DH, and even raise the pitching mound back to the initial height.

I enjoy competitive baseball, not just an offensive show. A 6-4-3 double play can be move valuable to a team than a 2 run home run in many situations.

Theres no need to move teams from one league to another. It does make sense though to move one team to the West. But who are you going to move? I think it would have to be the Astros. You arent going to move the Cardinals Cubs or Brewers cause they are the 3 best teams and the other 2 are too far east to play in the West.

And the reason you dont hear complaints about it in other sports is because they follow the same rules. The AL and NL dont have the same rules with the DH.
