  1. no he is a poor batsmen and lacks the ability of captaincy

  2. I don't believe so, he is not suited to ODIs

  3. No, Collingwood is much better than Vaugan.

  4. He is not comfortable playing the shorter version of cricket and he had voluntarily stepped down so the Q of come back is a remote possibility,

  5. i dont think so.He may not be a goodODI players and he feels this also that why he retired from ODIs

  6. no

  7. nooooooooooooooooooo. hes not a good odi player. n y collingwood should replace?

  8. I agree with EDGE.

  9. O.D.I is all about fast running, furious hitting & lightning fielding. M.Vaughan is a perfect test player, but isn't suited to mark himself ''again'', in the O.D.I's........ He is performing very well in tests, odi isn't for him now.

EDIT------------ Captaincy, well I always wanted K.Pietersen to be the skipper of the O.D.I & T20 English team. Collingwood's presence in the team would give moral support as well as strength to the national team. Without captaincy Collingwood may concentrate more on his all-round performance.

  10. Na not at all .Look at his dismissal in the 1st test against South Africa. You cant carry that form into a ODI series. Collingwood brings a younger more enthusiatic feel to the team. He is a better fielder and quicker between the wickets. And he is a great medium pace bowler.

  11. Michael Vaughan has dodgy knees.  Most players that get to MV's venerable age and want to continue playing usually give up ODI.
