If they did it would probally have to be a road course. Because there is not much flat land to do a traditional speedway.

  1. you must not leave the house much

  2. No. It would be a "cookie cutter" track like Chicago, California, etc.

They already have 36 races per year.

  3. i think yes, i think there should be a track in every state except for hawaii and alaska, and i think it would be awesome if they raced for that many weeks (48, cuz 48 states) but that wouldnt be fair to them cuz they deserve a break more than 4 weeks so ya, i think there should be.

  4. Why not??..But in my opinion they should consider re-opening and bringing back races to the tracks that exist now like Rockingham and North Wilkesboro..and GIVE BACK the Southern 500 to Darlington where it belongs!!!!!

  5. uh no. Where is there any money in WV. Also they already have enough tracks in the general vicinity.

  6. Of course Nascar should build a track in WV. Also in Louisianna, Arkansas and another one about 5 miles from my house here on the West coast of FL.  But they won't. And its not because of the lack of flat real estate. (Ever been to Bristol? Whew! Those hills at the track will kill ya! LOL) Its because Nascar is under the impression that they need a major TV/urban market to be successful. They've given two races to miserable Fontana Auto Club Speedway in CA that can't sell out a race and abandoned Rockingham, almost abandoned Darlington and ignore Kentucky. (Cup races, not Nationwide). They've spent millions of $$$ trying to build a track in NYC which was soundly defeated by the locals not wanting a track in their neighborhood. They've also investigated areas outside Denver and got a similar cold shoulder response.  Maybe its the TV sponsors  and their big bucks that drive these decisions but it confuses the heck out of me. Bristol sells out. Talladega sells out. Nascar needs to realize its not the area the track is in but the track, the drivers,  and the fans that makes the race.

  7. No probably not, you got Kentucky Speedway, Bristol aint too far, Pocono isnt too far, and Richmond intl.

  8. Dude its 2008.  We can move a mountain if we want to.  What the heck are you talking about not much flat land?

I guess it would be cool for the Mountaineers though.
