Question:

Should NFL receivers wear jersey numbers 10-19?

At one point u would only see college receivers, placekickers, and punters wearing number 16 or 18. But since Keyshawn started wearing number 19, every receiver has jumped on the wagon. I'm not slow, I know who plays what position, but it bothers me to see those wideouts wearing number 10 or 11. I don't know, maybe I'm being petty. What are your thoughts on the matter?

  1. I don't like it.  It looks weird.  All 80's please.  If you need more numbers make TE's wear the weird numbers.

  2. Yeah I think NFL Receivers should be able to wear 10-19! it's not causing any problems so why not?

  3. Well the thing is eventually Receivers will be forced to wear #s 10-19 because the Teams are retiring Jerseys of their great WRs in the past. So lets say 10 years from now a Colt Receiver cannot choose the number 88 or 87 because Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne had their numbers reitired by the Colts. 10-15 years from now Teams will be retiring many Jersey numbers so that'll leave Receivers to choose #s 10-19

  4. i hate it..i wish they would go back to wearing numbers in the 80's...

  5. i like it because alot of college QB's become WR and they want to have there number so they can get it, i was a QB and wore 15 the next year i was a WR i wore 15 again and it worked out
