More Australian names??? Who are you trying to sell the game to.. the Japanese Tourists? Team names are about marketing and identification... you want a team name that is easy to sell and gives your team a distinct identity. Some names have historical or local value (Steelers, Sharks, Warriors etc), some are names that have evolved (Berries - Bulldogs) and others are names chosen to please the fans (Titans).

Junior League Numbats and Wombats are fine... NRL is big business as well as professional sport... so you need something that will give you that edge, fan and financially wise.
