Question:

Should Nadal should get his due!?

I'm the biggest Federer fan, but I was very impressed with Nadal's "going all the way" attitude. This guy had part of foot skin missing and the biggest blisters, but he chose to lose with grace and not take the easy way out and quit. What do you guys think?

  1. Totally agree!!

Same here, I love Federer tons, as everyone knows (and for some reason are bitter about it, poor angry little things).  But I like Nadal, too, and am very proud of his fight!

I said it before, but that blister was almost beyond blister, it was a HUGE gash. DEEP and long. If you didn't know it, you'd think he was stabbed or something in the foot. It is nasty!  Yet, he kept on playing even with that.

  2. He is a true sportsman. I agree with you. I love his attitude. He would reach the number 1 spot very soon.

  3. Obviously Nadal was raised to be a classy athlete.  He and Federer are really good examples of how to act...winning or losing...hurt or sick.

It is something perhaps SOME OTHERS may wish to emulate.

  4. yes he is not quitter

  5. That is why Rafa is called a champion from inside and out. He has an amazing attitude and I admire his courage for making it through the game. I am a fed fan too, but Rafa deserves every bit of appreciation for making it thru the game. I would like to add one more title to Rafa's name- he is the king of clay and king of modesty.

  6. his still the champion for me.. a true fighter,, good attitude on and off the court... vamos nadal! be well soon! win hamburg and french! :)

  7. Vamos Rafa!!! This gesture by Rafa is a reminder to Djokovic that even during times of pain and uncertainty, a professional athlete should do what is expected of him, that is, play and go on until the match is finished...
