  1. No, his volleys are actually decent but that's not his strength. Besides, grass is so much slower than it used to be that strategy isn't nearly as effective anymore. But the occasional serve and volley is never a bad thing as long as you know what you're doing.

  2. Personally, I don't think so.

I watched him do that about a half hour ago, Federer killed it and won the point, unless I'm mistaken..

  3. No grass courts are slower. So the opponent would be able to hit the ball past him.

  4. Stop asking these kinds of questions. Federer is going to kill Rafa at Wimbledon. Haide Roger! m**e Nadal!!

  5. I completely agree with Michael N.

Vamos Rafa he can win wimbledon this year :) ! x

  6. He doesn't need to serve and volley, and his serve is actually the weakest part of his game, though it's improving every year.  But he does play more inside the court on grass, especially to return serve, his swing is more compact, and he hits the ball a little flatter.  As far as his net play, he actually does come in a lot on grass, and last year he even came in more than Federer did, with great success.  His volleying skills are probably the most underrated part of his game.  He's actually quite good at the net, better than most players.  That's why he's been to the finals the last two years, and why he'll be hard to beat again this year before the final.  If he can play Wimbledon as well as he did at Roland Garros these past two weeks, the rest of the field, including Federer, better watch out.
