Should Network Admins Play "Big Brother?"

The Below article refers to ways people can risk their jobs over personal Email and other activities at work.

What do you think of this? Should employers be nosing into your private affairs? Should employees be reading personal emails at work? Why or why not?

Its their right to do so.  When employees are downloading onto work computers material that could potentially be harmful to the network; not to mention wasting company time doing non company work. Admins monitor the network to make sure nothing inappropriate is coming across the network.
