Should North America have one currency?

Would North America benefit from adopting the "Amero" currency which would unify the US dollar, the Canadian dollar, and the Mexican peso? Would this help to support the Manifest Destiny theory?

Man never thought of that, but could change a lot of things with balancing the economies of all those areas and create more opportunity for some sort of economic stimulus to be improve those area not up to par with development.

no, i dont think we should have just one currency. itd be weird and hard to seperate the countries, plus, not that many travel to the countries as much as people think.

manifest destany was for AMERICA to get from sea to shining sea. mexico and canada got their own things goin on.

I think this is a horrible idea.  It might be good business for the people on top, the people in power, but I think it would be detrimental to the working class.  

By instituting something like the Amero, there would be less use for borders, leading to a more liberal open border system.  This will combine the economic and the social systems of these countries.  From then it is only a matter of time until the political systems combine.  By default, this will lead our own Constitution defunct.  A new order will be instituted.  This won't happen in a few years, but rather a few decades, more likely.  

This won't support Manifest Destiny, because it would not be the United States that this happened to, but more likely something new like a North American Union.

No. The U.S. should remain a sovereign nation, independent of of others.

the u.s.a is a great nation and should have its own currency and not cooperate with others on these stuff. If we do, we will be in a big mess.
