Allow?  He's stated before she should be on any nominee's list of choices.  She has a lot to bring.  And I assure you, he will ask her publicly, even if they agree privately that she will not accept it.

allow is the wrong word to use. it has been the norm that the candidate chooses his or her running mate. this primary season has been anything but normal but it should still be his choice to make.
