  1. Has McCain won the female vote? That's what he's counting on....the primary reason for his choice...and the exact reason he shouldn't win the female vote.

Update for you "thumbs downers" lol:

"McCain first met Palin only six months ago and had just one conversation with the Alaska governor before offering her the vice presidential slot on the Republican ticket, the Arizona senator's campaign said Friday."

"McCain campaign manager Rick Davis had several conversations with Palin throughout the vetting process, but McCain himself didn't speak with the Alaska governor until Sunday, one day after Barack Obama named Delaware Sen. Joe Biden to his ticket. It was then McCain reached Palin by phone, while she was at the Alaska State Fair, to discuss the possibility of joining the ticket."

He selected her for the votes...counting on women to be so stupid that they'll vote for any candidate with a woman on the ticket.

  2. Obama should not have picked tired old politician Joe Biden. Senator Biden has been in the Senate since during the Vietnam war. How is that representing change? He is a tax and spend liberal who excites no one except his cronies in Washington.

McCain has not only given women a real choice, but has given conservatives someone to get excited about. And middle class working people. And families. And younger people. Sarah Palin is an all around excellent choice. A real American for a change.

  3. Only an idiot would decide who to vote for based on their s*x!

  4. I'm not for Obama or McCain, but Obama probably made the right choice in Biden, as for McCain, seem's like he's capitalizing on the fact that a woman vice president might be appealing to americans and would give her viable experience 4- 8 years down the road to actually seek her own seat, so this is either a brilliant move by McCain, or an act of desperation to garner the women voters.

  5. Palin is not only going to be the refreshing candidate, she goes after corruption in politics.  The Dem union thugsters will sure hate her.

  6. Obama should not have picked HIllary.

McCain definitely has not won my vote.  I am not impressed with her at all, what so ever.  He should have thought a little longer and harder about his running mate.

  7. I really thought and hoped Obama would have picked Hilary. I don't follow politics too much so I don't know much about Obama's VP or McCain's but it was smart of McCain to pick a female.

I think Obama is still going to win even without Hilary but Hilary would have given him a huge push into the presidential chair.

    Good question! =)

  8. There is no way Obama could have picked Hillary as his running mate after she was on the campaign trail for 9 months bashing Obama and refusing to quit the campaign when it was clear that he was the nominee.  She has no one else to blame but herself.....

  9. If Obama would have picked Clinton for VP, l would have questioned his religious belief since we know Hillary was busted for lying. Not once, not twice but a few times. A God fearing man with a lying woman by his side. another Job story at hand if he would have picked her. so my answer is heck no.

  10. I don't know if he won the female vote but I sure do think McCain's choice was a lot better then Obama choice for VP.

  11. I want to criticize her because her husband works for the biggest oil drilling company in the world and I don't want more oil politicians in office to do nothing but raise gases, possibly to $7-10 as is their target with the next Republican. He recently went on-leave so there wouldn't appear to be a conflict of interest while his wife runs office, since his co. BP has been paying Alaska off to do offshore drilling and her husband helps lobby to increase oil taxes for a living. WAKE UP unless you love going broke keep sticking your head in the sand. I'm not gonna let a devil in disguise fool me but that's fine if guys get a hard on and vote for her so they can be a broke joke. I can't bring myself to vote for Obama, but I am not crazy to vote for more inflation and higher gas prices by oil cronies in office either.

TODD PALIN WORKS FOR BP - world's largest oil co.
