  1. i hope so, no one under his weight class has no match with him

  2. Once he beats Marquez, there's no reason for Manny to stay at 130.  For Pacquiao, JMM is the last man standing in the superfeatherweight division.  He has beaten Morales twice and Barrera twice.  Once he disposes Marquez and snatches the WBC diadem, he has already cleaned up the division.  Of course, Joan Guzman and Valero are still there, but they aren't in Pacquiao's class and a fight with any of these guys won't make money, and boxing these days is all about money.  Furthermore, it's pretty obvious that Pacman's already having difficulty going down to 130 everytime so stepping up to the lightweight class is most natural.  And I think he'll still be as good at 135 as he is now at 130.

  3. Well, he has been struggling to make 130 lately, so it is pretty sure-fire that he will be moving up to 135 after his rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez.  He is already seen as the best in that division and if he beats Marquez, then he will be the true super featherweight king.  He will not really have anything left to prove, I mean I would have liked to see him face Joan Guzman, but maybe that fight can come later down the road at lightweight.  He will most likely face David Diaz for his WBC strap later this summer, and after that there are rumors that he may fight Oscar De La Hoya as Oscar's farewell fight in December.  So, he clearly has multiple options if he defeats Marquez and decides to move up in weight.

  4. I think it's unavoidable that he moves up, there is nothing left for him at his current weight, plus the rest of the superstars are up in the next couple weight classes, He can definately hang in lightweight and eventually welterweight.

  5. While I don't think any single fighter in the lightweight division poses more of a threat than Marquez - the move up would be a challenge in and of itself.  Its always interesting to see guys move up, and a guy like Pac who relies heavily on his power may have some trouble when his one-shot big shot now has to be 2 or 3.

I think he could actually be better at 130-135, he'll keep his speed, and a guy with his kind of conditioning may eventually grow into that weight very well - increase his power even, which would be a frightening thought for anyone he takes on.

  6. No one will fight pacman in 130 after he beat marquez... and the Pretty Boy Mayweather challenge pacman that when pacman moved up to 135(lightweight), mayweather will challenge pacman and he will movedown to 135 to fight pacman... that's what I know...

  7. I think lightweight is the next target of manny paquiao

  8. Yes!  What is there to do, when all the big name fighter are already destroyed by him... Joan Guzman just wants a big payday, Pacquiao is not going to kick is @$$$$$$ just so he can win money... After JMM, he should just forget fighting David Diaz and go on to the lightweight division... Maybe if we're lucky, he'll fight hatton at lightweight....
