An ethics complaint obtained by NBC News was filed Wednesday by the police officers union in Alaska, requesting a probe into possible wrongdoing by the governor or her office. It was brought on behalf of state trooper Mike Wooten, an ex-brother-in-law of Palin who is at the center of the "Troopergate" scandal.

The complaint alleges that the governor or her staff may have have improperly disclosed information from Wooten's personnel records. The complaint alleges "criminal penalties may apply."

  1. No.  The dude tazered (sp) his child and made threats to the family.  I don't think that's a fit person to be a state trooper.

    Do you?

  2. Troopergate has been settled,  and he is gone.  Everybody else knew about it last Week!  Kinda slow for news, do't you think??

  3. Yes, but the information actually came from the divorce attorney, and Wooten had signed a waiver giving the attorneys access to that info.

  4. Do you dems actually know anything about this case, or do you conveniently leave out the part that makes it obvious it's a frivolous suit?

Apparently the trooper tazered his 10-year-old stepson and made death threats to his father-in-law.

  5. Did the report also mention her Tasered his 10 year old step-son and made death threats against Palin's father?

Or did N.othing B.ut C.rap decide to leave that part out?

  6. Nope. They'll get a visit from a bunch of dudes in black SUVs and the problem will go away.

  7. I doubt very much whether Palin will have to deal with any of the bits and pieces around her gubernatorial issues. She would have been discounted in the vetting process. So either there's nothing to the allegations against her or they feel confident they can make her dirt go away.

  8. it would be a thing of beauty if she did get into trouble with the Alaskan Police considering she is the GOP VP candidate!!
