Should Prince WIlliam be the next British Monarch?

Apparently a lot of Brits think his father Prince Charles should be bypassed altogether in favour of him. Camilla doesn't do a lot to help his image.

Prince william will be a better king. His father wouldn't be the right choice.

Prince Charles of Wales is next in line after Queen Elizabeth II and he will definitely not abdciate in favour of Prince William. He is in his early 60's waiting for this role as King since childhood, and I highly doubt he would give it up just coz a few Brits wants to see a younger image on the throne.

As for Prince William, I don't think he is ready to be King as he is still young and inexperienced (engaging in royal duties), unlike Prince Charles who had spent almost half of his life preparing for his role as King.

Someday in the future, Prince William will be King and he will definitely be a great monarch since he has two great inspirations in life, his grandmother the Queen and his mother, the late Diana Princess of Wales.

Actually the British Monarchy should be totally disbanded and "Princes" Phil, Chuck, Billy and Hank should all go out and find real jobs.

William has a lot going for him, but he's still very young.  I'm one year older than him, and the thought of taking on a CEO's job (which is an equivalent if you think about it) is terrifying.  Charles has prepared and trained for the job his whole life.  Camilla is a quiet and calm woman, whose only crime appears to be being a divorcee.  She should have been allowed to marry him in the first place.  When William's time comes he will make an excellent monarch, but he's not there yet.  Besides, shouldn't he be allowed to live a little first, in the way his father never was, so that we don't find ourselves complaining about another 'stuffed shirt' monarch in a few years time?

Yes, I think Prince William should be the next King! He would make a better king than his father and his miserable wife. You put Charles on the throne with Camilla, you see a big outrage happen.

He probably will be.  The way the Queen´s holding up, she´ll probably outlive Charles, anyway, eliminating the need to make any such decisions.

I always sort of imagined him falling off his polo pony and breaking his neck, anyway, or some other such accident, as he´s sometimes quite the daredevil  (actually, haven´t seen much of that, though, since the late 70, early 80´s)
