Prince William is obviously a great supporter of English rugby. That's fine as he has no Welsh blood. But shouldn't the WRU appoint someone who actually supports Wales?

  1. If you can get him out of the bar.

  2. no he shouldn't. whoever advised him that this was a good idea is crazy. i understand he's the future prince of wales but at the end of the day he's english and english rugby's biggest supporter. i don't know how he could sit at the millennium stadium as vice patron of the WRU when he was obviously supporting england

  3. No he should not be.........he should NOT have been have offered the post by "sucking up pen pushers" who know nothing about the Welsh pride and passion of the game and He should never have accepted it, on principle. He maybe the son of the Prince of Wales, but there is more welsh blood in my garden stone wall than there is flowing through their veins!

As for the "Prince William Trophy"....whoever came up with that one needs shooting down........come to think of it, most at the WRU need shooting down!

*BRU..........there is a great difference in reading a language and actually speaking and understanding it.......Charles cannot pronounce half of what he reads and sure as h**l does not understand the words..........any Welsh speaker will confirm this!

  4. He should support his beloved England, bet he needed to go on a bender after the sc*m lost against the bok again.

    Max Boyce for Wales

    OGGY OGGY OGGY!

  5. Absolutely...it's also wrong that the Prince of Wales is English (he was thrust upon us).

Whoever said that Charles can speak Welsh is wrong. True, he can read some Welsh sentences better than most Englishmen, but I could read Italian fairly well even though I can't understand it.

  6. Couldn't agree More !!! And we're playing a game against South Africa for the Prince William Cup ?!?!!?!?

  7. I don't see why William cannot be vice patron.  His father is Prince of Wales and the queen is their monarch

  8. No he shouldn't - see my previous posts. Every time Wales play SA from now on, it's called The Prince William Trophy.

It's sad, and most Welsh are displeased by it

  9. NO WAY , NA DIM O GWBWL DYDY E DDIM YN DYWYSOG I GYMRU A DYW E DDIM YN PERTHYN I NI O GWBWL.

NO he has nothing to do with wales. he is a German/ English monarch who wares the label which is long overdue. Nobody in wales supports the fact that Charles is our prince our true native prince was murdered by the English. And as far as I'm concerned this prince and his son have nothing what so ever to do with wales so no. NOPE , NOPE NOPE.

  10. His Mother was formally the Princess of Wales and so was Prince Williams Father.  He can speak Welsh his father that is so doesn't it stand to reason that he should a vice patron to the Welsh rugby team.

  11. yes ur right

  12. Nah

It should go to a person of true Welsh heritage

    B.

  13. It is simply Dai pickering and co - sucking up too royalty..

    It is a fecking disgrace.

The National team must not be turned into the royals servants.

That's all I see when they take the field, a team covered in monachist and royalist symbols and regalia....and who we stupidly cheer to give us a pretence of nationhood..

Who and what does  the h**l does the national side represent?

Sevitude? Slavery? Englands power? The union is about to split up....where the h**l are we going to be?

    A irrellavent laughing stock..thats where.
