It wont happen, unfortunately, in fact i think it will just get worse and worse each season. What is the point in having contracts, im beginning to wonder?

To the guy above me: No, Real Madrid is the richest. Man Utd is currently worth more though. ;)

To the asker: No, they should not... Honestly, that's a dumb question.

It's part of the game now a days. The more ruthless teams are Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan and Liverpool, but they always follow the rules. Hence when Man Utd launched a complaint to FIFA about RM this summer, nothing was done.

Like the first person said, it is up to the player anyways. A good player won't be sold unless he wants to be because a club won't keep a player against his will. It'll disrupt the locker room and the player won't strive to win at a club he doesn't want to be at.

On another note... Beckham and van Nistelrooy were shipped out by Sir Alex. He didn't want them at the club anymore. Robben was replaced before he even left, so Chelsea were selling when Madrid bought. Owen also wanted to leave Liverpool. Madrid made the better offer compared to other English clubs who tried to buy him. Last but not least, Ronaldo stated he wanted to leave for Madrid.

So excuse a rich club for buying players that were, OMG, for sale in the first place....

hey atleast they're using their OWN hard earned cash!

so nothing can stop them buying players. they're one of the richest clubs and i can't see it changing anytime soon!
