First amendment says no .  Sanity says yes.... but I got bored with that rambling idiot back in the mid 90's ..if enough people ignore him he'll go away .

This is why radios have an on/off button, and the ability to tune into a vast number of stations.

I am in no way a fan of Rush!  I thought his drug scandal should have been a fire-able offense.  On the other hand, working in radio myself, I have to defend his right to speak his mind.  

Even if Rush is silenced, there will always be another broadcaster waiting in the wings to take his place spewing his or her own brand of mindless c**p.  If you have something against Rush, the best thing you can do for yourself is to not listen to his program, and forget he is even on the air.

I turned it off in the early 1990s, but if dolts still want to believe that bloviating liar, let them listen.

He's got a right to speak.  I have right to f**t.  But if either one of us does it too much and in the wrong social situation, somebody's going to ask us to stop.

And in both cases, it only smells right to the one who did it.
