  1. China has a booming economy right now. They will not be going into a war unless majorly attacked . I am sure they have undercover work being done and are feeding that info to the US so that the US could deal with Bin Laden. Russia on the other hand has a Leader who does not like and trust the US. So they want the US to be kept busy in Afghanistan. They in no way want to be drawn into a war along side the US.

  2. China never involves itself in other conflicts because their so sensitive about their own record.

I don't think you could get a Russian soldier to cross the border.

  3. Isn't really a question of when they will become involved?

Both China and Russia have been attacked by Islamic terrorists.

Al Queda's self proclaimed mission is to recreate the Islamic Empire. Both Russia and China are holding lands that used to belong to that Empire. Those places have large disgruntled muslim populations.

Al Queda is in Afghanistan right?

  4. The real question is why are British men and women dying for Bush?

  5. Russia/China didn't train the Taliban or Bin laden. It was America. So why should anyone clean the mess America made???

  6. Anyone who doesn't like the idea of the Taliban ruling a country should be involved.

  7. Russia already gave it a try. China likes things as they are.
