  1. I am sure that if the family members look for an attorney, there's one who will be very happy to sue a wrongful death action against the illegal alien, his family, the city, and everyone else they can link to failure to remove this illegal alien and contributory negligence resulting the deaths.  There are also organizations campaigning for stricter enforcement of immigration laws who would probably love to get their hands on a test case like this to put paid to any city's notions of "sanctuary" or refusal to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.  There's never a shortage of hungry lawyers, campaigning lawyers, crusading lawyers, etc.

Hope they proceed as this would likely put an end to "sanctuary" and any refusal to cooperate with immigration officials when local/state law enforcement arrest someone who turns out to lack documentation and/or be present in the US in violation of immigration laws.

  2. Yes, I think they should compensate the widow.  Money will not buy her family back, but perhaps SF will take care of business properly if they have to pay millions for not doing their jobs.

This would not have happened to this family had they deported the criminal illegal alien invader at the time.

  3. Illegal immigrants should be shot. We have enough problems in this country without importing all of Mexico's poverty, crime and corruption.

  4. Yes they should sue the city, and the politicians who allowed this to happen and encouraged the "Sanctuary City" status should be jailed for 60 years as an example to warn other Ultra liberal politicians to keep their idiot schemes to themselves.

  5. If an American citizen murdered her sons and husband then I would say no.  Actions of criminal citizens are not the responsibility of the government.  However, these people weren't supposed to be in this country in the first place.  I think many immigrant "havens" around the country need to be taught a lesson.  Maybe this is a consequence that they would understand and respond to by enforcing the laws already in place.

  6. Yes she should as should anyone in her situation. If the victims of illegals started filing lawsuits against government entities we would see a big rush by our so called leaders to end illegal immigration.

  7. The mayor should brought up on charges he did violate Federal law by allowing felons to roam the streets without regard for the rest of the people. If the Mexican drug smuggler can sue for $ 5 million -why shouldn't this family be given millions.
