Doesn't Palin, a two term mayor and with 18 months as Governor have more executive experience than Obama,McCain and Biden combined?

More than The two senators who have been senators for 30 years, and a damned site more than a community organizer and state rep turned Senator?

  1. the top of something...wait; doesn't she already have five kids?

  2. Yeah, electing her will send a message to the world:

You can have insufficient experience and be a TOWN mayor and become President of the United States!

    Even if:

~ You don't know what the VP does

~ You haven't been keeping up with the Iraq war

  3. No. You actually have to have delegates vote for you for that to happen. And nobody even used the phrase executive experience until a few days ago. Google it!

  4. Didn't McSame cheat on his wife with $indy? So yes, maybe Palin WILL 'wind up on top,' probably in the back of that Straight Talk bus bedroom a few times, when John-boy gets something straight between them. Viva Viagra!!!.

Golly, McSame, great choice. Good thinkin' pal. And God Bless You for ensuring a Dem win in November.

It wasn't enough for Bush to have the world laugh at us, but McSame just continues the shameful tradition with choices like Palin. I'm sure that Putin, Medvedev, Ahmedinijad and the rest of the world's hard-a@ses are drooling at the thought of President Palin when McPain keels over from his 5th coronary.

Thank GOD there are elections every 4 years.

  5. Well, according to those who support the McCain/Palin ticket out here, yes.

After all, they're quick to point out the Palin has 21 months of "executive experience," and that makes her better qualified than Obama.

Now if we were to follow this logic, that means that Palin is better qualifed thant John McCain too, huh?

And his years as a senator, and Biden's years as a senator, and Obama's years as a senator don't matter.

But Palin, who is an ex-beauty queen and an ex sports journalist, her 21 months of "executive experience" is better than all of their experience combined.

Btw, didn't Bush have 8 years of "executive experience" before he took over?  And how did that turn out?

Oh.  People losing their homes; banks closing; people choosing between food, medicine, and gas; a major city drowning; and over 4,000 unnecessary deaths because of a senseless war.

  6. I'm glad that she'll have four years to gear up for the top of the ticket.  Palin for President 2012.!!!!!!!

  7. Palin vs Hillary in 2012 when McCain opts not to run again when he's 76?

That would be quite a catfight.

  8. Seriously??  You think that being the governor for 18 months of a state that has less than 700,000 people TOTAL is significant executive experience?  How exactly do you get to be named a reformer and a rising star in those circumstances?  Its because the competition isn't too fierce.  I think her experience as a former beauty queen turned Evangelical Christian soccer mom from Alaska with a degree in Jouralism/ Communication from the Univ of Idaho is not exactly what we need in terms of solving the middle east conflict and cleaning up our ecomony.  IF this is the new criteria.. I'm anxiously waiting by my phone b/c I'm sure I'll be receiving a cabinet appointment shortly!   Oh wait.. I'm not a crazy fundamentalist... I guess my time will never come.

  9. more executive experience maybe, but not more of the experience that we need in these times. she has no foreign policy experience at a time were we are in TWO wars. the economy is a mess, and i read about her economic philosophy, uh uh.

I used to support Mccain, but what people don't realize is this man's age and 4 bouts with cancer. I wouldn't be surprised if he collapses while still in office. If that happens (althouogh i hope he won't get elected to office) Sarah would be bombarded with all these problems that need solving right NOW. And come on 18 months as governor of a small state, like people get real. John Mccain get real. Does he really think that winning is so important that he is actually risking the safety of america. i sadly don't support mccain anymore. this pick of his not only makes no sense, but it is also extremely dangerous.

  10. No.....But, I believe Biden should be on top of the ticket instead of Obama....

Obama has less experience than Palin and yet, he's the PRESIDENTIAL candidate whereas Palin would be VP.....

  11. First of all, Senators have national experience.  Obama has served on the foreign relations committee.  It may not be "executive experience," but it's experience more relevant to the skills you will need as president, because it's national.

Second of all, how does running a state for 20 months qualify you to be president?  You guys are getting really fuzzy with all this "executive experience" stuff.  I don't think any governor would tell you that they were ready to lead the country after less than 2 years governing a state.  States only deal with each other, they are forbidden by law from dealing with other countries.  What if there were a nuclear crisis?  How did her 20 months of "executive experience" prepare her to deal with that?

  12. And when you really think about it, she's got more executive experience than George Washington too!  She should definitely be our nation's leader in these tough and uncertain times to fight terrorists, cut peace deals and stare down Putins.  Why should we let fact that she has absolutely no experience get in the way of our conservative ideology?  Why should we be bothered that she got her first passport to travel abroad in 2007 and has never had her mind broadened by travel.  The absurdity of this choice and the firm expectation that Americans are dumb enough to accept it just sad.  But I guess if >50% Americans believed Saddam attacked us on 9/11 to give GW another 4 years, we are a stupid enough nation to rally for beauty and the beast.

  13. She should, but is not. Never mind, McCain will loose anyway.

  14. How about atop a flag pole during a hurricane??? LOL

You'd better stock up the White House with ADVIL....listening to that whining voice all day would drive anyone batty.

    Hey....you asked!!!

Sorry Jon, the message would by BUY EAR PLUGS.

    Pass the remote!!!

  15. Palin's "qualificaions:"

She chose to have a downs child rather than abort it

She is against choice even in cases of rape and incest

She is, according to some desperate men, a "MILF"

She knows how to cook caribou

    She jogs

So none of the above engenders any confidence in Palin as the leader of anything outside of Alaska.

  16. No. More than Obama. But "Executive Experience" doesn't really count against like 40 years of service. I mean. Seriously.

  17. No, she shouldn't have even been on the radar for VP.  McCain is making a joke of his candidacy.

  18. Sure why not.  By putting Palin on the ticket is a defeat for the Rep's.

  19. Yes

She is the only candidate that supports banning the birth control pill.

It's worth noting that Gov.Palin is a member of "Feminists for Life", an organization with members that openly support outlawing all "non-abortifacient contraception" (anything that stops implantation of the fertilized egg). http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/ff...

    http://www.thepillkills.com

We may not be able to overturn Roe vs Wade but there is no constitutional right to the birth control pill.
