Should Sharia Law be introduced into the United Kingdom?

This question is asked as a result of an online petition by a group of muslims.

I received this petition yesterday, asking for it to be forwarded.

The petition is being presented to Gordon Brown very soon.

What is the so-called Archbishop of Canterbury doing to protect the Christian interests of this once-great country!

  1. its not like ur prime minister is going to agree ffs, just chill out. and seriously, do they really think its going to be introduced? lol

  2. Of course not. Muslims are (and should be) completely free to follow their traditions (as long as they don't violate any law in the country they live in). But by no means they should try to implement Sharia Law (which isn't very human rights-friendly to us westerns) in a country that already has its own laws. Whyy should they try to? When we go to a Muslim country we respect (generally speaking) their ways: women have no contact with Muslim men, we respect their mosques, etc... They should do the same when they visit or live in a Western country.

  3. NO WAY!!!!! They can do their own thing, but don't force it on us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Whether it should or not, its going to happen if you people don't do something to stop it.
