Yes, she should apologize because she did not show any sympathy to 10 million of poor people who are still suffering from the Sichuan earthquake everyday.

What's more important, she should really do something not only for Tibet Foundation, but also for those Sichuan people who are now calling " help, help !" to the world.

If she really believes in Karma, then the real question is "a karma for who?" for Tibetans or for Chinese?

The people who died were innocent civilians. Not government officials. Not torturers. Not invaders. Not anything to do with China's dealings with Tibet.

To say their deaths were somehow deserved or that the earthquake was a kind of justice, is just horribly evil or horribly stupid.

If she had any sense she would as the death of these innocent civilians has nothing to do with China's political policy.  Karma in the western world  is the law of cause and effect of one's owns life... so how can the actions of some in China effect others and not themselves.  It makes no sense!

She's just an idiot, and further proof that Hollywood actors, musicians and celebrities should stick to what they know and not abuse the exposure they're given (no pun intended with respect to Sharon...!).
