Polio was suppose to have been erradicated years ago in south Africa because of the strict child vaccination programmes our previous government followed. But now it has surfaced again in Nigeria, Mali, Chad etc.

What happened to the $ 100 000 000 donated in 2004 for vaccintions to help these "poor" people? http://www.boston.com/news/world/articles/2004/06/23/africa_polio_outbreak_feared/ With all these illegal immigrants in South Africa, should I get polio drops again? The last time when I had it I was 5 years old.

  1. Dont think the adults should have a prob.

For the money, you still asking. The Nigerian prez orderd a 737 BBJ private jet in 06 costing a mere $120mil

  2. I live in France - a bit less risky! - and I'm ordered by my wife to get it done every few years. I have to go soon...If I were you, I would. It can't do any harm.

The money? Where did it go? I expect it went where it usually goes, don't you?

  3. Yes small children should

So ruk terug het grafrowers in Namibie grafte oop gemaak van mense wat die virus gedra het en dit het weer kop uit gesteek en die virus versprei

  4. I think we are safe for now. No panic as yet but you never know especially with all the Nigerians coming to SA. Maybe one of them get a bright idea to spread the virus here to make a quick buck or two. I also thought polio were something of the past and wonder how it has surfaced again.

  5. I have one as a child, I don't plan to have another.

Most vaccines do more harm to our health than good anyway.
