Should Subway's $5 dollar footlong promotion stay forever?

rumors are that the $5 footlong is going to end in a few weeks....question is, should this deal be for good?

Yes, of course.  Who wants to pay more when they could only pay $5.00?  I found myself going there more frequently lately because of the promotion.

What, are you trying to kill me King Felix.  I don't want it to last forever.  It was way way to busy at my store.  Sales increased about 40%.

Seriously though, the any regular footlong for $5 ended on May 11th.  Starting May 12th there are 8 footlongs for $5.  They are Veggie, BLT, Tuna, Ham, Spicy Italian, Cold Cut Trio, Meatball and Roasted Chicken Breast.

umm do you watch tv? there will now be a $5 footlong menu....it has certain sandwhiches on it.........like turkey and spicy italian and some others..check out their website..

It should've applied across the menu board if it was only temporary. Personally, I like the Chicken Pizziola, but when I make that a meal it runs me $10. The select few subs they do run @ $5, should remain that way since they're not as popular, and are a healthy alternative that is priced to compete.

Yes, Sir.  The $5 Regular Footlong should stay forever even tho the advertisement states "Limited Time Only".  

As you know, Quizno's has started an advertising campaign targeting Subway's $5 Sub.  Since that has taken place, maybe Subway will continue with their lower prices a bit longer.
