Should Supreme Court Judge appointed by the peoples instead of politician and had term limits?

Do you think is better if Supreme Court Judge should vote by the peoples instead just politician and appointed, and they should be a term limit, many of current judge serve like 30-40 years before retire.

they are appointed by the people, in a way...

we elect the senate and the house and they approve the presidents selection, and we elect him.

NO to term limits, this why they are not beholding to the next group of politicians.
