I dont really like the shape and go for the more traditional ring. What if WWE changed their ring to the TNA style would they be considered dumb?

  1. yes

  2. No i like the TNA ring, it's unique and stands out.

  3. no

  4. i think it is pretty cool something diffrent

  5. no they dont want to be like anyother wrestling company they want to stand out and i doubt they will change back to a traditional ring

  6. nah, tna is good how it is, but wwe is way better, tna ring is more like a ring though, so it would be a weird idea for tna to just come on one night and the ring would be changed lol!

  7. well............... in my opinion they r both different, i want them  to change their rig but not 2 four sides. i think they should make a ufc style ring , u know 5 sides, bulit in cage.

  8. no it gives them distinction...

  9. I like the idea that it is different and unique. I do prefer the more traditional look though

I agree with OJ. They need other changes. TNA showed promise early. Lately they have been weak. WWE type storylines. Horrible gimmicks and far too much Samoa Joe, Angle and Booker T. Total misuse of a star like AJ Styles. Wack storyline with Angle and making him a cronie, lackey or whatever was done right terrible.

  10. No, I don't think that TNA should change their ring. I think that it is very nice & unique. That's probably the only ring with 6 sides.

  11. This is a weird question.  For television the 6-Sided TNA ring is a great addition to the flair of the federation, and makes for a good feel of innovation.  but the problem occurs when you go to a live show.  The ring feels VERY small compared to a WWE ring, and sometimes feels as if there's no point to be in the ring other than to jump over the ropes for random spots.  The problem with the ring is that it's perfect for Spot Monkey style matches...  matches where it's huge altheltic super moves, and weird double-teams.  I'm not saying this is BAD, however, as TNA used to have a set of high flying matches mixed with strong striking, and a young talent roster to match it.  BUT...  the "new" additions to the roster (read: Former WWE Talent...  with the exception of Christian Cage and Kurt Angle) are slowly making the ring feel useless...  I'll explain.

The ring has a "cutting edge" feel to it, since it's not traditional...  and the roster used to support this.  Matches that were hard hitting, but not necessarily hardcore.  Wrestlers with the talents of the independant feds, but shown in a light that was very flattering for them, especially since, usually, they were not hired by WWE due to their small stature.  But the talent is slowly not matching the innovation the ring shows.  It's slowly going the way of WWE by bringing in Booker, Steiner, and other "slower"/"showy" workers.  The ring is good for quick and bouncy actions, and the larger workers don't tend to take advantage of that anymore...  and some even look lost in the ring.

If the WWE switched to a 6-sided ring, it'd be pointless.  They'd lose the "larger than life" feel the fed has already, and instead adopt a "cutting edge/indie" feel...  and that's not what the WWE is all about, anyway.  So if the WWE switched to this ring, it'd lose all the tradition it was built upon, in favor of a POSSIBILITY...  and WWE has never banked on a possibility.

    So in short:

TNA + 6 Sided Ring - WWE guys = Awesome and Innovative

TNA + 6 Sided Ring + WWE guys = Odd and lumbering

WWE + 6 Sided Ring = Loss of it's traditional touch.

  12. They should change a lot of things. The ring is the least of their worries

  13. no I think the 6-sided ring sets them apart from the competition. It gives them individuality.
