  1. well honestly, he's the only guy out there with the most experience right now... in public so to say...

but i think he shouldnt... if mike tysons original trainer or angelo dundee were around still.. well id go for them of course..

but my answer is no i dont think he should be head....

if you can change my opinion, well please do

  2. I say Freddie Roach should be the head coach. He trains some of the top boxers and helps them get better at their weakness. Maybe the future Olympians would get inspired by all of his greatness

  3. No way should Teddy Atlas be head coach of the USA boxing team Teddy is a professional boxing coach there is a big difference in armature and professional boxing and Teddy talks to much he gives more advice than a fighter can handle in a fight.  I love Teddy Atlas but please keep him away from the kids . The Armature boxing federation knows who the best armature coaches are in America they just have to give them a chance and we have 4 years to straighten out this mess that the last Olympic coach left behind what a disgrace. I hate to brake it to you but there are a lot of qualified coaches out hear who never get a chance to coach the very best America has I know politics has every thing to do with it  I just hate it. Where did this last Olympic coach come from because he has no clue ? Letting a boxer come in over weight is in excusable and another fighter is listening to his buddys in the stands and not his coach WTF.

  4. It is the talent that is the problem.could you see the ring magazine doing a tomorrows champions piece on this lot?

  5. Absolutely! He's got the kind of old-school passion for the sport and the real-deal tuff guy background to not take any guff from these increasingly undisciplined and disrespectful U.S. boxers.

For example, when one of the U.S. boxers didn't stick around after the fight for the official ruling, the coach played the role of apologist. And throughout the Olympics, Teddy has routinely commented on how U.S. boxers don't stick to game plans that the U.S. team laid out for them (instead, they are listening to coaches and friends back home).

Sure, the scoring system has been a total joke, but man, show some class and respect (which, as mentioned, is something that's been missing in boxing for a long time).

  6. ya he should i mean he has the experience he has seen more fights than any other man has ever seen i mean he is a good eye for caching things he easily picks up on bad habits and good ones he knows how to correct them and how to take advantage of the others bad habits and how to counter them
