  1. Teens: yes

Children: As long as their names are Artemis Fowl or Alex Rider.

  2. 14 and older- YES

at age 13? Eh depends on the maturity level.

    12 and under- NO

  3. I am 15 and I have a blog. But I only have one for a specific reason. When I in middle school I moved and I had to leave behind a lot of friends, so I use my blog to let them know what's going on with me. I also have family that is scatter out all around the country, so it's an easy way for us to communicate.

But in my opinion, blogging gets old after a while. The only reason I really kept up with my blog was because I wrote a huge oratory that I wanted people to read. I posted my blog everywhere and it was an easy way for people to access it.

  4. I think they should. It is a good way for them to use theri creativity.

It help their creativity because they can make and look for custom layouts on the web, personalize their blog in a way that reflects who they are, and they can post things that relate to who they are. They could also post stories, poems, videos, drawings, and other things they have created.

And if you are worried about online safety, what you could do is tell them to use their middle name in their blog, so no one knows their real name. Tell them that they cant post pictures or videos of themselves. And you need to know their blog's url so that you can have access to it.  And if you want to, you could ask them for the username and password.

Its really safe if you know how to control it.

    I hope I helped!

    Have a nice day(:

  5. Yeah its like a journal. Just not as secrety.

  6. it depends on who can view it, what they say in it, and what website it's on. i do blogs every day on my myspace.

  7. it just depends wt for

  8. if i were u, i would let my teen/child hav a blog. they're pretty much harmless. b4 u say yes tho, talk 2 ur kids and make sure that they know and understand not 2 put too much information on their blog (ie last name, birthplace, address, etc.)

besides, if u say no, the odds r that ur child will get one anyway, and just wont tell u

make sure u ask 4 the url to the blog, just so that u can check up on ur child every once in a while, but not every day :)

  9. i honestly don't know what a blog is but from the ones ive seen they don't look like they are bad

  11. Yes , its a type of self expression. It is dangerous but things like bebo are fine because they are basically where friends (that actually knw each other) can talk and send each other messages and stuff. I can see why you would be worried becuase of all the bad people out there but i have many blogs but they arent very personal. i think they are fine.

  12. Yes cuz they can keep in touch with their friends as long as they dont talk to strangers...i have bebo, facebook and msn, and my mum is fine with that and i am 13, 14 in 116 days...x
