Should Texas succeed from the Union?

Texas has the power to succeed because of two things: oil and the Military. California cannot succeed because they're in debt.

It's a myth that Texas has the right to SECEDE. No state has the right to secede, according to a Supreme Court decision. But Texas does have the right to split into 5 different states, as agreed upon when they were originally admitted into the U.S.
