Should The Government IPO The Postal Service?

Estimates of total assets of the Postal Service are 500 billion. It owns approx 40,000 buildings. Market value of the Service would be upwards of 800 billion dollars. This could help the government solve the social security and medicare issues.

Brilliant!!!  Not only would it help solve Medicare and SS issues, it would help the mail service actually deliver mail!!!

I've got my own ideas on how to 'fix' SS and Medicare.  I need to run for office!!!
