Should The UK Royal Family Be Privatised?

This would solve two problems with one stroke.

Firstly those who are republicans will not have to see their hard earned taxes spent on an outdated monarchy and secondly those individuals who are in favour will be able to show the level of their allegiance through the amount of shares they buy!

And tourism revenue in all this?  In a country such as Great Britain, where we can't ensure regular sunshine, it's the Royal Family, the Palaces, Castles, etc, that many people come to see.

Take away all of that, and it would be literally thousands of jobs that would go as well.

These so called royals Bleed just as we all do . They should have to go out and get a job . Take there wealth which is the peoples and give it to the people . NO PERSON SHOULD STAND ABOVE ANOTHER !

No, privatisation does not always work. Air Canada was a good airline until it was privatised, it is now a miserable shambles. The Royal Family doesn't do a bad job as it is, gets more media attention than Britney Spears, is a great tourist attraction for the UK  and if there was a President it might turn out to be someone like George Bush or that playboy in France and they have to be taxpayer supported too along with their strange behaviours. If it isn't broken, there is no need to fix it.
