  1. oh h**l no

  2. He is too inconsistent for the team. If you would look at the team USA, you would see that most of their player, if not all are the ones who performs consistently on a nightly basis. That's what they're looking for. Odom might just be a liability.

Plus they have their man for that job, Tayshaun Prince. Similar to Odom, but Prince is a very efficient player. A significant addition for team USA.

He would lock down the other team's best scorer using his length and athleticism. (Odom can't lock down defenders.) He could shoot the three efficiently, and the thing is, he knows when to shoot and when not to, an attitude that is always overlooked but very efficient. ( Odom doesn't have a three point shot in his arsenal).

Prince is the man for team USA. Odom is not a bad player, he's just not a fit for team USA.

  3. Actually, they should. US got smack by other teams because their big guys (duncan, KG, etc.) aren't comfortable guarding guys playin' the same postion (PF, centers) that can drain three. Odom can give you that edge.

  4. What up MVP,

While i like Lamar- the question would be who would you take off the roster to fit Lamar???  As good as Lamar is in terms of being a very balanced player who brings a lot of intangibles -- if you play him as a SF he has trouble defending faster guys and needs to work on his perimeter jumper.  Keep in mind too that they didn't win the gold in '04.

  5. No. Personally, i really dislike Lamar Odom. I probably hate him the most out of all the players in the NBA other than Chris Kaman. He is inconsistent, has a few good nights, and misses easy layups, and 1s, and turnsover stupid possesions.

  6. i agree with the first answer u got

  7. i wish

  8. You just answered your own question.  As you said, that he is too inconsistent to be on this team.

Honestly, I was beginning to believe in Lamar Odom until he was non-existent in the finals. What makes you think he will do good on pressure situations in the OLYMPICS?
