Question:

Should Those Stupid Trolley Bags (You Know The Ones) Be Banned...?

If there's one thing that really annoys me, it's those stupid bags that suits walk around with, you know the ones, like large briefcases with wheels and an extendable handle. Nearly broke my neck this morning after someone walked straight in front of me, forcing me to kick the bag out of my way (rather hard as well). Should they be banned? Or should all users of these bags be given lessons in how to be more considerate to fellow commuters?

  1. Consideration should ALWAYS be given to fellow commuters.  I once witnessed a young girl having a right pop at a bloke on a tube train because the corner of his briefcase had ripped her tights and scratched her leg.  It's a tricky one of course, because there really is limited space.

On a similar but different note, I incurred the wrath of a fellow shopper last weekend when I moved her trolley three inches out of my way so I could reach the shelf.  In her loudest, most sarcastic tone she said:  "Oh, I'm sooooo sorry.  Was I in your way??"  Well, yes, actually.  She was!

  2. No.  Inconsiderate people like you should SLOW DOWN.  Would you have kicked it if it were a stroller?  Put it in that perspective and ask if you would kick a stroller.
