Should Tourist pedestrians in London be equipped with Brake/Stop lights?

They are always stopping suddenly in the middle of nowhere to gawk without warning and are always being crashed into. They will have to activate them when they stop or get a fine! That way the Govt can make more money! Should this law be enforced?

  1. it happens in our supermarket as well.....idiots.

  2. yes, and turn signals

  3. What a good idea - they drive me crazy dawdling along and stopping dead right in front. They're downright dangerous if you ask me. There should be a national tourist speed limit applied to them too x*x

  4. I've thought about this almost everyday as I'm walking around NYC.  I also think they should make lanes--one side of the street walks one direction and the other side the opposite direction.  It would be even better if there was a fast walking lane and a strolling lane...

  5. When I'm driving in London, I'm usually lookin to run an englishman over...

  6. They were thinking of splitting a few streets in London, one side for those in a hurry, and the other side for those who want to stop and chat and look at things etc. Whatever happened to that plan? I think Oxford St was going to be done.

I think we should build a carbon copy of London somewhere in the middle of the country and send them all there so we can get on with our own stuff and not have to worry about them!

  7. If you really think about it, it would be a great idea everywhere and as you stated the government would be making some money and it would cut down on accidents.

  8. tourists are the only ones who stop? do the rest of you walk around all day non-stop till you get home?  relax...

  9. They also need indicators!
