Subsidies are rewards for economically unproductive behavior, but as any politician that supports eliminating subsidies is committing political suicide, do look for it to happen anytime soon/

Yes, subsidies that developed countries give to their farmers directly  & negatively impacts 3rd world farmers.

The latest round of the Global Trade talks have been repeatedly been derailed by agricultural subsidies.

If you believe in Capitalism... then yes we should stop subsidizing LARGE CORPORATE FARMING OPERATIONS IN THE USA.

(shish - secret - there arent many farmers left in the USA).
