Should USA get involved with the sun/moon conflict?

as you know the sun is waging war on the moon, should we send troops to the sun, or possibly nuke the sun?

Well the USA seem to get involved and send troops everywhere else where it doesn't concern them, why not.

Um, if we nuked the sun, wouldn't we all die because of lack of heat and light? Then all the plants would die, and we would be seriously screwed. What are you talking about, anyways?

With Bush in the office, anything is possible! I can just see him sitting at his little desk playing with some star wars figures  bombing the sun. Why wouldn't he bring his dream to life? Even though there isn't any conflict with the sun and the moon- the moon is moving away because of tidal force, Bush needs something to keep him occupied in the last months of his term.

Send troops but only at night when it is cooler, and forget the nukes as America should stay committed to a nuclear free space. I cannot overstress the last part!!!!
