Should USA mens Basketball win gold this year?

I remember the days when the dream team was unbeatable, as a recall though last summer olympics USA only got bronze or something like that. Should this years team take it all or is there another heavy weight?

based upon the roster they should have no problem winning gold but under coach k's system, winning the gold may not be that easy. they really don't have plays that they call, he just haves a sort free roaming system and that may back fire with some of the better teams such as greece, spain, argentina, and even germany. but they do have the best players in the world, kobe and lebron, so they definitly have a good possibility and they seem to be really motivated. in the end it comes down to who wants it more. that will be ur gold medal winner.

As a team they are Good but not good enough to beat teams like Greece or Spain. And this is not because Greece and Spain have better players but because they play as a team.

Jimmy there you go with your arrogance again, what makes you think they're gonna win in the first place let alone easily? Those warm up games don't mean squat, they haven't played the top in any of these games. The guards for the top team are way better than the one the US played against (except for the Russian guard); saying all that the US should but it'll be close!

I think this team of pros is the best assembled since the original"Dream Team" in the 1992 games. The  past problems of NO PURE SHOOTER has been solved. The only problem i see is the USA has only 1 legit low post threat, Dwight Howard. Still with that said the Gold is the USA's to lose IMO!!
