Should X-Men be redone??

I felt that the X-Men trilogy was alright, although it did not really stay true to the comic books. Cyclops took a backburner rather than be one of the main characters. Isn't Rogue and Iceman supposed to be around the same age as Jean Grey and Cyclops? Jaugernaut could've been a litte better.

They did end up fudging with a lot of the characters until only a couple got worthwhile development, and the others were just sort of there to decorate the set.  But then, I'd rather see a movie that focused on one or two strong characters throughout, than something that tries to give half a dozen or more main characters equal screen time and character development, and ends up feeling thin and disjointed as a result.  I just don't think they have writers in Hollywood that can pull that kind of thing off with even modest success anymore -- and haven't for a very long time.

The first and second ones weren't dazzling, but they weren't bad, either.  The third one sucked big time.  They can pretend that one never happened and remake a "third" movie anytime.

I think the 2nd one was good, the first was alright, but the third was garbage, one of the worst films I've seen. The guy that directed the third one was the same guy that wanted Superman to have rockets for boots and super man to literally be the man made out of steel. Anyways i think that heroes is closer to what X-Men should be. It has many character's and it follows different storylines every week. I can only hope these origin movies are going to be good.

If you look at the recent string of Marvel movies, I think it is a good candidate for re-invention especially when all the Superheroes corossover, however these may need an overhaul which will be a waste of the good casting...

I think it's time for a another X-Men movie to like people to like bring back some dead characters...

Last scene in last X-Men showed hope for Professor X to return, gotta keep Patrick Stewart

Keep Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Halle Berry (Storm), Kelsey Grammar (Beast)

Bring back James Mardsen (Cyclops) and Patrick Stewart (Prof X)

Find better a Jean Grey, Rogue, Iceman

Expand on Colossus, Archangel

Maybe bring back some of the time traveling X-Men to undo the damage from the previous series (maybe Bishop, Cable, or Longshot) this may work if carefully written

Introduce some new dope characters like Gambit or Havoc
