Should Yahoo Answers separate children from Adults, especially in the politics and Elections sections?

After reviewing some of the totally absurd answer and further investigations, I realize that children as young as 13 are participating in the insults and deleting of serious and valid questions. It seems to be fun to insult people. And when you look at there answers, there are no valid contribution.

I also saw an answer to a child that said he was 14 that was inappropriate to the point that it should have been reported to the authorities.

This is deeply troubling, and I feel that kids under 18 may be at risk, do you agree or disagree?

Being mean or obscene

Because kids as young as 13 may participate in Yahoo! Answers, sexually explicit and vulgar language and images are not welcome on the site. Also not welcome are belligerence, insults, slurs and generally objectionable speech. If you wouldn't say it in public, don't post it on Answers. Read more

  1. Now how would they do that? Anyone can say they are older than they really are.

  2. NO !

Parents should supervise their kids !   Yahoo is cyberspace internet portal and they can't possibly know who is logged on to their system.

You know, if Governor Palin had paid attention to her eldest daughter, maybe she would have kept a close watch on her and she wouldn't have gotten pregnant.

  3. I agree

  4. I agree with you there. I think the youngsters should be separated here because people get nuts about their politics and there are some people who are just really nasty in general.  Some of the questions and answers here aren't fit for young eyes.  I know I wouldn't allow my 13 year old granddaughter to post here because some of the things she would read would shock her and some she wouldn't even begin to understand.

  5. Well I do understand what you are saying; however' there are many adults who respond like children and some children who respond like adults.
