Should Yellowstone be closed to prevent a terrorist from blowing us up ?

The Yellowstone caldera is a massive volcano just below the surface of the ground. It could erupt at any time and wipe out all of North America. Some Nut Terrorist might figure out a way to set it off and that would be really , really bad. I think we should try to protect ourselves from that.

A shopping mall can normally have 1,000 people in it.

Shopping malls around the world are routinely blown up. 1 bomb, 1 explosion, fire and the roof caves in, and 1,000 people die.

It happens all the time, if you follow the international news.

That is highly unlikely.

However what is very likely to happen is that one day Muslim Terrorists will get their hands on weapons grade Uranium and will use that weapons grade Uranium to make crude nuclear weapons.

The Muslim Terrorists will probably smuggle those crude nuclear weapons into The United States of America in shipping containers.

The Muslim Terrorists will then detonate those crude nuclear weapons when they are ready.

One of the stated goals of the Muslim Terrorists is to detonate a number of nuclear weapons in several different cities at the same time.

That would be a catastrophe if the Muslim Terrorists were to succeed.

The Muslim Terrorists could store those crude nuclear weapons in warehouses unitl they are ready to detonate them.

It is clear that we do not need to close down Yellowstone Park but we do need to close our borders to make it far more difficult to smuggle contraband into the United States than it is now.

If we go down that road we need to call our lives over if we are going to stop living because of possible threats.

We just need to be aware and prepare for an attack.

Closing down a national park won't stop a volcano from erupting, and unless that terrorist has seen The Core I don't think he'll have the means to trigger it himself.
